Paying for it
The monthly number, next to the bill you already have.
The monthly number, next to the bill you already have. Loans, leases, and utility programs so solar, a heat pump, and a roof can sit on one payment.
Cash
Fastest payback. Available state and utility programs still apply.
Solar and storage loans
10-, 15-, and 20-year products. The estimator’s “as low as” uses a 20-year note around 6.99% APR — real APRs are credit-based and disclosed before you sign.
Connecticut Smart-E
Green Bank loan up to $50,000 for 1–4 unit homes. Heat-pump specials have been offered as low as 1.99% APR through December 31, 2026 for Eversource and Avangrid customers with an Energize CT rebate. Restrictions apply.
Mass Save HEAT Loan
0% financing on qualifying heat pumps and weatherization in Massachusetts, stacked with 2026 rebates up to $8,500 (or $16,000 income-based).
12-year HVAC lease
$0 down, soft credit check, service included. End of term: renew, upgrade, or buy out. Useful when the Energize CT rebate still leaves a gap.
Commercial / third-party
Third-party-owned and commercial projects may still claim the business credit if construction begins by July 4, 2026 and the system is placed in service by December 31, 2027. That is a commercial / lease path — not a homeowner 1040 line.
